Our Emma is quite the girly girl. She is (in her words) “totally committed to pink” and loves trying different outfits. We’re also in that stage where she likes to pick out her own clothes each day. So I want to make sure that her dresser is stocked with clothes that we’re comfortable with her wearing. Even though she’s only six, she’s tall enough to wear the big girl sizes now. Unfortunately, that often means big girl-looking clothes. So we hunt high and low to find clothes in her size that still help her look like a little girl.
I was thrilled to learn about Cookie’s Kids. They have super cute clothes at super affordable prices. Not only that, but they have coupon codes to make the prices even better. Check out the slideshow of the online shopping I just did at Cookie’s Kids.
As we drug out Emma’s tubs of fall and winter clothes, I realized that we needed to do a little bit of shopping. I was searching through what she already has for something cute to wear for Christmas pictures, and I couldn’t find anything that I was really thrilled with. I ended up buying this sweater and this dress from Cookie’s Kids.
I’m planning to have her wear the sweater for Christmas pictures. While we’re taking pictures, we may try to get a few in the dress. It’s a great example of a little girl-looking dress in a bigger kid size. Love it! I also found this hat and gloves set in the clearance area for $4.99.
Talk about an oh-so-classic set! I figured Emma could wear this for a few of the Christmas pictures, especially if it’s chilly outside the day we take them.
While I was on the Cookie’s Kids site, I also decided to replace Emma’s current shoes. I picked out these for her.
I liked the price. She liked that they’re just like Mommy’s (except for the purple). I also snagged this cute Minnie Mouse tee for her as a surprise.
I got all of this for under $100 and used a promo code for free shipping. (They had lots of fun promo codes on the Cookie’s Kids site and in the new customer welcome email.)
The best news about Cookie’s Kids is that there is a sweet LivingSocial deal for them on Monday, October 24. You can get a $40 Cookie’s Kids voucher for $20. It’s going to be tested first in the Louisville, KY area. If the response is good in that area, they may offer it to other cities around the country. Wahoo! Also be sure to follow Cookie’s Kids on Facebook for news about deals.
