I just realized that I forgot to post my latest CVS trip for you. I did this week’s CVS shopping last Saturday. Our store switches over pricing for the new sale items around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon, but you can still get the current week’s sales too. You’re basically shopping the sales for two weeks when you shop on Saturday afternoon. Here’s what I got:
Starting ECBs: $7.99
Merchandise Value: $14.95
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $.98 plus tax
Ending ECBs: $5.00
Savings: $13.97 (93%)
What I Bought:
1 Finish Tabs – $2.99 (last week’s sale item)
4 Oral-B Toothbrushes – $11.96 (this week’s sale item)
2 M&Ms – $1.00
Coupons Used:
-$0.50/1 Finish Automatic Dishwasher Detergent printable coupon
– 2 B1G1 Oral-B Manual Toothbrush 8/15/2010 RP Insert
-$.50 off M&Ms coupon that Emma printed at the in-store coupon printer
-$7.99 ECBs from last week
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $.98 plus tax
ECBs Earned: $5.00 (Oral-B)
I may try to sneak into CVS again tomorrow afternoon to see if I can snag a few things from this week and few things from next week.
