I stopped at CVS today and found the Carmex Moisture Plus on sale for $1.50. I stopped to pick up a prescription on Friday and got a $1.50 off Carmex Moisture Plus coupon on my receipt. I got it for free, but it should be better than free because the package was marked with a free after rebate offer. Rebates usually go by the amount that’s printed on your receipt, so this rebate should be for $1.50.
I also figured out how to get 4 Hershey Air Delight candy bars for the price of one. They’re on sale Buy 2, Get 1 Free this week. I had 2 BOGO coupons. Since I was checking out with 4 of them, 2 would be free with coupons, and 1 would be free with the sale.
Of course I did the $2 Almay money-maker that I told you about. I needed mascara, and I love moneymakers that are useful!

You did great! I am getting so frustrated with my local CVS and their hostile coupon policies, so I am seriously considering a CVS break. It’s tough though, because I want to keep on rolling those extra bucks.

When they do this I usually give them a big cheese smile and tell them God bless you or try cracking a joke. Works for me good luck.

Find another CVS even if it is a further drive. I have a CVS that is within 2 miles of me. They are the ABSOLUTE worst store I have shopped in. Unfriendly staff, they refuse to follow the rules on CVS policies and their stock sucks.
There is another CVS within 7 miles of my house. They are friendly, their store is always stocked, they don’t mind coupons and will substitute if absolutely necessary. I love that store. I know the managers & cashiers by name. There is one that doesn’t like me much, but I don’t let that bother me. I just smile and tell Don how much I appreciate his patience. He usually will end the sale with a small smile.
