But blow dryers can be a little pricey. That’s where planning ahead comes into play. I know that I’m going to have to buy a blow dryer some time in the next 12 months. So I watch for a good deal and buy one ahead of time. I keep it stashed under my bathroom sink…. just waiting for that fateful morning when my current dryer is going to go up in smoke (sometimes literally!).
I can’t even explain the relief that comes on the day when the dryer blows up and I have another one on-hand ready to use. I don’t have to spend the day with icky, frizzy, not-quite-wavy-not-quite-straight hair! Instead I can get out the new dryer and finish the task.
If I waited until my current dryer stopped working, I would not only have a really bad hair day, but I would also have to drive to the store to buy a new one. I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of a well-planned sale with coupons either. Planning ahead for my hair dryer to blow up is one way that I save money. We stockpile food and personal care supplies… Why not a blow dryer?
