My friend Mandi and I were recently discussing our mutual addiction to love of office supplies. I admitted that I drool over cute notebook covers and trendy three-ring binders. Don’t even get me started on girlie paper clips and funky-colored pens. (I know… I know….) But when she asked me if I had a Busy Body Book, I must admit that I had no clue what she was talking about. She explained what a Busy Body Book is and how her family uses it, and I realized that it would be perfect for our homeschool planning. When my Busy Body Book arrived, I realized that it had a whole slew of uses for any family!
The Busy Body Book has weekly grids with daily spaces for 5 different categories of activities. While we’ll be using our five columns for lesson planning for different subjects, a family could assign a column to each family member. Or a student could use each column for reminders for different subjects or activities. You could even use the columns for things like meal planning. If you want to take a sneak peek, you can download some weekly grid sample pages.
In addition to the weekly grid, the Busy Body Book has a weekly to-do list area, two-page monthly calendars, notes pages, and perforated to-do/shopping lists. I can see how the Busy Body Book could keep a family schedule under control and make it easy to see overlapping activities at a glance.
I can’t tell you about the Busy Body Book without mentioning the fun designs! The covers (and inside pockets) come in four different design choices, two for the academic year planners and two for the calendar year planners. Each Busy Body Book has a sturdy plastic cover to protect it from rain, spills, and and the other sorts of creative damage that we all know can happen to planners!
I could go on and on and on…. But let’s get to the giveaway! One Saving & Giving reader is going to win a Busy Body Book planner. You’ll get to choose an academic planner or a calendar year planner, whichever would suit your needs best.

Hmmm, it’s a toss up between Cherry and Licorice, but I’d be thrilled with either!

I’m loving Licorice. A reminder of “summer” throughout the school year. : )
Licorice or Blueberry – I’ll take either one. And I also have to mention that I too am OBSESSED with all types of pens, pencils and paper products. I always love this time of year because I can pretend to be shopping for my kids back to school supplies while really looking at stuff for me! 🙂
My fav is the Licorice! 🙂
