Last month I shared with you a fun alternative to screen time, the Polly Pocket Hangout House. Wait until you see what the delivery man dropped off at our house this time……
When you’re seven and love Polly Pocket, that’s definitely a squeal-worthy delivery! This box included the Polly Pocket Playtime Pet Shop and the Polly Pocket DVD Friends Finish First.
The biggest thing that I noticed about the Playtime Pet Shop was the attention to detail. The little suction cup bottoms on the accessories are once again a huge help, especially when you want to move the shop from room to room. You’re not leaving behind a little trail of pet shampoo bottles as you move.
While Emma enjoyed the Polly Pocket Hangout House, I can’t think of anything she would like better than the Playtime Pet Shop. I think the little pets are her favorite part of the Polly Pocket toys, so this one is perfect! It will encourage even more creative play for this family. Check out the detail in the little pets.
Can you hear the little eight-year-old AWWWWWW with those little kittens? 🙂 These are just the right size for little hands.
The little dog and cat treats are small enough that they help fine-tune those fine motor skills. I love that about the Polly Pocket toys.
The DVD that came with the shipment was the first Polly Pocket movie we’ve ever seen. The title Friends Finish First is perfect to describe the theme for the movie. I think we were holding our collective breath at the beginning when Polly launches off the ramp on her rollerblades. (Don’t worry. I won’t ruin the ending for you!) The DVD shared a fabulous lesson on why friends should always come before our own achievements. The message of people first is so important.
