CVS Trip: Black Friday on Saturday

November 28, 2009

I headed out today to snag a few of the Black Friday deals that had carried over to today. CVS was a gold mine for me! I was truly surprised that our store had all of the ECB deals in stock. The cashier said that they had ordered extras, and I was thrilled! Here’s what I got. (Click the photo to enlarge it.)

Merchandise Value: $113.72
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $2.86 plus tax ($8.63 total)
Starting ECBs: $13.99
Ending ECBs: $8.89
Savings: $110.86 (97%)

As I was putting this all away a few minutes ago, I realized that the only things that we were keeping for us were the 2 toothpastes and the 2 handsoaps. The rest went into our Christmas giving bag. The items are either headed for gift baskets for our family, a gift basket for a needy family we found out about, or a friend’s husband who’s in Iraq. It’s even more fun to give at Christmastime when you can score great deals like this!!

I’m not going to break down all of the deals coupon by coupon, because the sale ends today. But you can see my list of Black Friday 3-day sale deals HERE, complete with coupon matchups.
