I stopped by CVS today to purchase two additional Dry Idea deodorants. I learned (the hard way) that you should only try to do one of these at a time. I handed over my coupons, but one of the deodorants rang up at a different price. It also didn’t generate the ECBs.
The manager happened to be at the register and fixed the price. She was going to manually print them. However, the ECBs from the correctly-priced Dry Idea did print. She checked the ad, saw the Limit 1, and wouldn’t print the other one. I was going to return the deodorant that didn’t print, but I would have only gotten 99 cents back. It just wasn’t worth it.
So……. if you’re going to try the Dry Idea limit 3 scenario, do them one at a time, maybe even on different days so that this doesn’t happen to you!
