Dad. Father. Daddy. For me those are powerful words. Names laced with sweet memories, strength, affection. Today I’m celebrating the dads in my life. My own dad helped shape who I am today and modeled for me the love God has for us as His children. My husband models that for our daughter. Neither man is perfect. Neither would claim to be. But I’m incredibly thankful for both of them.
I hope that you’re able to celebrate Dad today. If you’re not close with your dad or if your dad is no longer with you, I pray that you can rest in the love of your Heavenly Father. He loves you more than even your earthly dad ever could.
See what great love the Father has lavished on us,
