I just wanted to stop by and wish all of you a happy Mother’s Day. I’ll be spending today celebrating with and enjoying my mom, knowing that I am blessed to have her so close by and such a huge part of our daily lives.
I know that for some of you, Mother’s Day isn’t the happiest day. Whether you’re remembering the loss of your own mom, dealing with family issues, or maybe grieving empty arms, you’re on my heart today. The first Mother’s Day after our miscarriage was the worst Mother’s Day I’d ever experienced. But even now I remember that God gave me the gift of a verse, Jeremiah 29:11.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
My prayer for all of you today is that you would let that verse settle around your heart. God does indeed have a plan for you, and that His plan is good.
