Last week’s Kroger cheese deal helped me plan my menu for this week, and that meant a HUGE grocery savings for us this week. I spent a total of $43.24 on everything pictured above. My receipt showed a savings of 54%. My goal is always to get above 50%, but I haven’t been doing that lately. So this was great!
My favorite deal was the Quaker / milk deal. If you bought 4 boxes of Quaker granola bars (or other Quaker products), you got FIVE free half gallons of milk or juice. I needed the milk and juice, and I had coupons for the granola bars.
This truly does show me that having a nice stockpile started pays off — quite literally! I can focus my efforts on buying what’s on sale rather than having a huge list of items that I absolutely have to buy.
