I keep reading about how people are getting many items for free or next-to-free at Wal-Mart, Kroger, and CVS this week. I keep thinking that I should take advantage of these sales, but time has been VERY short this week. I’m plowing through my major to-do list today, and I’m hoping that I’ll have time this evening to compile a list of all the free and next-to-free items that I’ve read about. Then, tomorrow, I’m going to use my lunch hour to try to snag as many of them as possible.
If I don’t plan a time to do this, I’ll miss the great deals. My coupons will expire, or the weekly sales will be over. That leaves me paying for some of these items down the road. If I can manage my time well today and have an hour to plan tonight, then I’ll be saving my family a great deal of money.
I’ll let you know how the planning and shopping goes. This isn’t something that I do every week, but everyone seems so gung-ho about the deals this week. I’ll be sure to take time to recap the deals for you so that you can snag them too!
