Product Review & Giveaway: Fruit2O Essentials

May 16, 2010

I’ve been trying to drink more water lately. I’m not doing too badly, but I have to admit that plain old water can be downright boring. I’d much rather crack open a Diet Mt. Dew! But I know that the water is oh-so good for me. So I’m trying…. really, I am.

That’s why I was very interested when I was contacted about trying Fruit2O Essentials. We’ve bought Fruit2O in the past, but this is a whole new line of Fruit2O drinks. Instead of being simply flavored waters, Fruit2O Essentials offer several nutrients found in two servings of fruit. There are still zero calories and zero sugar.

I thought that I’d make this a group effort, and share some of the Fruit2O Essentials with my mom and dad. We all tried different flavors, and we were all pleased with the products. The flavors weren’t overpowering – in fact a couple of them could have been a little bit stronger. But they were refreshing, and we all felt good about choosing this drink over something carbonated.

I was impressed with the line of flavors that are available too. Fruit2O Essentials come in Cranberry Raspberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Peach Mango, Citrus, Blueberry Pomegranate, and Cherry Acai. My personal favorite was the Citrus, because it had a little tartness to it.

For more information about the flavors and to learn about Fruit2O’s partnership with the American Diabetes Association, be sure to stop by the Fruit2O Facebook Page. While you’re there, you can click the Special Offers tab and print coupons for Fruit2O Essentials.

The Sunny Delight Beverage Company and BSM Media have generously offered an opportunity for one of you to try the new Fruit2O Essentials for yourself. One winner will be chosen to receive a shipment of Fruit2O Essentials. There are five ways you can enter to win. Enter once or all five times. Just be sure to leave a separate comment for each method of entry.  If you do all four things but only leave one comment, you only get one entry.

  1. Leave a comment describing one way that you try to work drinking more water into your day.
  2. Subscribe to the Saving & Giving FREE daily email update. This sends one summary email to your inbox each day, showing what was posted that day. If I don’t post, you don’t get an email. I don’t ever use your email address for anything except the daily update. If you’re already a subscriber, leave a comment letting me know.
  3. Follow Saving & Giving on Twitter.  Come back and leave a comment letting me know that you became a follower. If you’re already a follower, leave a comment letting me know.
  4. Become a Like Saving & Giving Facebook. Come back and leave a comment telling me that you did this. If you’ve already done this, leave a comment letting me know.
  5. Become a Google Friend of Saving & Giving. Leave a comment telling me that you became a friend. If you’re already a Google Friend, leave a comment telling me that.

This giveaway will close on Friday, May 21 at 9:00 p.m. EST.  A winner will be chosen randomly from all entries.  Good luck!

All information in this post – and the Fruit2O Essentials prize package – was provided to me by BSM Media on behalf of the Sunny Delight Beverage Company and Fruit2O Essentials. I received a shipment of Fruit2O Essentials to try, but I was in not compensated for writing this post. The opinions are accurate and all mine.

I don’t like the taste of our city water, but to cut down on the cost of bottled water, I mix bottled flavored water half & half with tap water.

  17. Jacqueline says

    May 17, 2010 at 7:15 pm

I make a big glass of ice water and then force myself to drink it completely before having coffee or a diet soda. It isn’t really exciting but it works!
