I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Zact. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. All opinions are – as always – honest and my own.
Our daughter (age 8) is still too young to own a smartphone, but she’s a whiz at using mine. She’s already asked me how old she has to be to have her own phone. Part of me doesn’t even want to think about that yet. The other part knows that I can’t live under a rock (as much as I’d like to!) and need to have a plan ready for when the time comes.
I know I’m not the only one who’s concerned about kids’ smartphone use. The team at Zact did a study to find out what concerns parents most. 73% of U.S. parents are concerned about the lack of parental control of a child’s activity on mobile devices.
If you haven’t heard of Zact, be sure to check them out. Unlike other cell providers, Zact lets parents set curfews and restrict which apps their kids can use. And right now Zact mobile is giving away 3 smartphones in 3 days, complete with 3 months of service. Click here for details or to enter to win.
