I’ve been asked why I bother doing a Sunday coupon preview. Can’t we just wait to see which coupons will appear in our papers? I have two reasons for doing previews.
First, if you buy your papers on Sunday, you need to look through them BEFORE you check out. Verify that the expected inserts are in each paper you’re buying. There’s nothing more frustrating than making a run for newspapers and finding that one of them has a missing insert. If you realize this BEFORE you buy them, you can choose another paper.
Second, I like to do some of my deal shopping on Sunday, especially if there are really good CVS deals available. Knowing which coupons to expect in my Sunday paper may change a CVS scenario.
