Changes to Swagbucks

February 25, 2010

Since today is the second birthday of Swagbucks, they are launching a new website and making some changes to their program. If you have the Swagbucks toolbar installed on your computer, you might have noticed a HUGE increase in the number of Swagbucks that you currently have. In fact, there should be 10 times more showing. But that’s because each Swagbuck is now worth 10.

They also changed the prices to go with this. The $5 Amazon card that I love to earn used to cost me 45 Swagbucks. It now costs me 450 Swagbucks. So, the increased income just goes along with the increased cost of rewards. I’m not sure why they did this except that we’ll be more excited to win 10 Swagbucks at a time!

If you’re not sure what this whole Swagbucks thing is all about, I highly recommend that you read my posts HERE and HERE about how it all works. I’ve earned lots of Amazon gift cards, and I’m not a huge Internet searcher. If you are, then you definitely need to use Swagbucks!
