Congrats to Aimee who won the Chris Tomlin album!
Confession… I’m a Christmas music junkie. My husband and I have an ongoing debate about when Christmas music listening should start. He tries to get us to avoid Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Who wants to wait that long!? Not me!
Each year I try to add at least one new CD to our growing stash of Christmas music. This year’s happens to be from one of our favorite worship leaders, Chris Tomlin. I’m loving this album, Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship, because it’s not a traditional Christmas album. Yes, there are some traditional Christmas songs on it, but those are interwoven with worship music, truly capturing the joy of this holiday season.
This new album features classic Christmas songs with a mix of original Christmas songs. I love the guest performances by Lauren Daigle, All Sons & Daughters, Crowder, and more.

A couple of my favorites are some old, non-traditional songs.
One I love is “Almost Christmastime” by David Meece and the other is “The Star” by Dan Peek, Definitely showing my age…but I still love them all these years later.

O Come All Ye Faithful is my favorite carol. On a sillier note, Dominick the Donkey is hilarious! Any version of The Little Drummer Boy still makes me cry.

One of my favorite carols… this one is very unknown; Star of the East. When I was a boy, we had it on a record. I still have the record, but it won’t fit in my CD drive – haha.
