We stopped by CVS today on the way to my grandma’s house. Convenient, eh? I ended up doing two separate transactions…. well, actually three because of a little mix-up with the Gillette deodorant limit 2 ECB issue. I was pretty excited though because I was able to restock our dwindling shampoo supply AND do some shopping for personal care items for our local food pantry.
Transaction #1:
2 Colgate Sensitive Toothpastes – $3.99 each
1 Carmex – $.99
1 Herbashine Shampoo – $3.99
1 Herbashine Conditioner – $3.99
1 Excedrin Migraine 8 ct. – $.99
2 Gillette Odor Shield Deodorants – $4.00 each
Merchandise Value: $25.94

ECBs Earned: $21.94 ($7.98 Colgate, $.99 Carmex, $7.98 Herbashine, $.99 Excedrin, $4.00 Gillette)
This is where I realized that there was an issue with the Gillette ECBs. The cashier kindly returned one of the deodorants and re-sold it to me, triggering the second $4 ECB. So I ended up with $25.94 in ECBs.
