My brother and sister-in-law just painted several rooms in their new home, and they didn’t choose a paint color before they arrived at the store. Instead of spending hours agonizing over paint chips taped to the wall, they went directly to the OOPS paint at their local home improvement store.
The OOPS paint section has gallons of paint that were mixed but not purchased. If an employee mixes the wrong color, or if the customer isn’t satisfied with the color, the cans go to the OOPS section. The paint is usually marked at 50% off.
I am a huge control freak, so I don’t know if I could walk in and choose a paint color according to what was in the OOPS section. But my brother and sister-in-law’s colors were beautiful!
