A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Well that’s especially true about Noah: A Wordless Picture Book. I’ve heard the story of Noah, probably a hundred times. But I’ve never seen the story presented this way.
I tried to think of a word to describe the images in this book. Beautiful, detailed, stunning, and intriguing all crossed my mind (and would all be accurate), but I would call them captivating. With each turn of the page, you’re drawn into the drama that is unfolding. The raw emotion in the characters’ facial expressions is true-to-life, and the animals are engaging.
Through this book, our family was immersed in the story of God’s faithfulness to Noah. Each one of us pointed out different details that we noticed each time we flipped through the book. We also had fun searching for Squeakers the Mouse on every page of the story. (I still haven’t found him everywhere!)
What I thought was going to be a book just for Emma ended up being one that all of us have enjoyed.
