We were excited to have the California Fruit Bounty box delivered to our home!

It was fun to unpack all of the unique fruits that were part of the box. We found a pineapple, a pomegranate, some pears, some apples, a grapefruit, some Medjool dates, some oranges, an avocado, a Minneola tangelo, and a blood orange.

A couple of the fruits were new to us, so we packed them in our lunches when we went to our homeschool co-op. As we peeled the blood orange, we ended up having a mini food lesson right at our lunch table! We shared some samples and looked online for more information about the fruit. The kids were fascinated!

And my family may have had a little fun with the package contents while I wasn’t looking…….
