Rite Aid: Shopping Trip & Candy Update

October 8, 2010

Looks like the awesome Rite Aid candy deal is now gone. I knew it was a gamble, but Emma and I stopped this afternoon. Here’s what we got.

Merchandise Value: $27.98
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $17.98 plus tax
+UP Rewards Earned: $4.99
Final Price:  $12.99

I checked out and have everything here. Now I’m just not sure what to do with the candy…. Keep it? Take it back? (Minus the Swedish Fish that are already partially eaten!)

I was able to snag inexpensive GoodNites and the free-after-rewards Nivea as part of the deal. If you haven’t done the Huggies deal, you may want to stop by tomorrow. Diapers, Pull-Ups, and GoodNites are $7.99. There are printable coupons and insert coupons for $2 and $2.50 off. There’s also a Video Values printable coupon for $2 off. There aren’t any rewards for them, but at $3.99 a pack, they’re still a good deal.

Check out all of this week’s Rite Aid deals and coupons before you head out!

I was able to get about 30 bags of candy (between 5 stores) early this afternoon! Sorry it’s not working anymore… that really stinks! I would take it back… the only reason I bought any was because it was free/moneymaker.

I guess I could take back 4 bags…. Two have been mysteriously opened and partially eaten. Sweets don’t last long around here. 😉 Glad you snagged the deal though!
