S: Swagbucks
Swagbucks has to be my all-time favorite way to earn free stuff. If you’re not familiar with Swagbucks, it’s a way to earn gift cards and other prizes just for searching the Internet.
You register with Swagbucks and then search the Internet as you normally would. To search, you can either go to the Swagbucks website, or you can download the Swagbucks toolbar for your Internet browser. You get paid virtual “bucks” for doing searches. Not every search produces these bucks, just random ones. You accumulate Swagbucks until you redeem them in the Swag Store. I usually redeem mine for Amazon gift cards. This is a great way to pay for gifts! You can register for Swagbucks right HERE.
Fridays are Mega Swag Bucks Days. What’s Mega Swag Bucks Day, you ask? Every Friday, Swagbucks gives away upwards of 400,000 Swag Bucks! That means that you can win from 30 to 1,000 Swag Bucks for a search. Not every search will turn up bucks, but you just never know when yours will be the lucky one!
I’m already on the hunt, using Swagbucks each time I search. I’d like to start accumulating Amazon gift cards for next Christmas. It’s a great way to reduce how much we spend on Chrismtas gifts!
Head over to Swagbucks and get signed up.

Jen, I have to say this is one of the greatest tools! I’ve been actively earning Swagbucks, since you introduced me to the site a few months back. I’ve already earned enough for a $25 gift card and last week, I won the Swagstakes twice – for a total of 200 Swagbucks! Thanks again!

Wahoo Teresa!! I’ve never entered the Swagstakes. Sounds like something I’ve GOT to try. Glad you’re earning and getting some prizes already. I smell some free Christmas gifts in your future. 😉

Here’s a little hint for redeeming the Swagbucks. It takes less points to redeem 5 $5 Amazon gift cards (totaling $25) than it does to redeem a single $25 gift card.

Good point Amy! If you tend to earn lots of them, there’s a limit on how many of each prize you can redeem each month. This proably won’t be an issue for most of us, but if you get a bunch of people signed up under you, you could start seeing your numbers go up quickly. I’m thinking of following your advice and doing the 5 $5 cards this month though!
