X: Examine Your Progress
Okay… it doesn’t exactly start with the letter X, but it’s pretty close. Today’s tip is a pretty simple one. Examining your progress simply means checking in on yourself from time to time. You might ask yourself a few questions:
- Are you truly saving money? How much?
- Is it worth your time?
- Are you less stressed about how much you’re spending?
- Have you made strides toward your savings goals?
- What can you do to save more?
- What saving methods should you give up?
If we just jump into couponing and saving money and don’t take a good hard look at where we’re going, we could end up chasing our tails! Sure, chasing after deals can be fun and very rewarding. Just be sure to take a few minutes to reset once in a while. Pat yourself on the back. Make adjustments. And keep on saving!
