Are you trying to grow veggies or flowers (or both!) this summer? I’m thinking of trying my hand at growing some veggies for the first time in a long time. While I’d love to have something like the garden pictured above, I know my own time and energy limits. Right now I’m just debating between doing a mini in-the-ground garden and doing a container garden off the back deck. Whatever I do, I want to use as many natural and/or organic products as possible to help them grow. We’ve been trying to buy the Dirty Dozen produce organic, but that adds to our weekly grocery spending. Instead, I’d like to cut our grocery bill down by growing some of them myself.
To stick to that organic/natural mindset, I’m thinking about trying Whitney Farms® organic soil and organic plant food. I figure whatever goes into the soil grows into the food we’ll be eating, so I’d rather use a natural product that uses no additives, nothing artificial. If you want to give Whitney Farms organic products a try, there’s a $3 off Whitney Farms organic plant food or soil coupon available to print. Click here to get yours.
Anyone else gardening this summer? In the ground or in containers?
