It is legit, Julie. I have a relationship with the company (Restaurant.com) and they have a great reputation for deals. Restaurants participate so that they can drive business to their locations. Their hope is that you’ll get hooked and keep coming back. Smart marketing on their part! Restaurant.com runs deals all the time. This happens to be the lowest-priced one I’ve seen from them yet. Usually it’s a $25 gift certificate for $10. So this is a great deal. But the deal is indeed coming from Restaurant.com. I wouldn’t post anything scammy for you. 🙂
@julie, My mom just did this and got 4 $25 certificates and 1 $10 certificates at 70% off. She spent $13.20 and got a total of $110 worth of gift certificates.
Some of the restaurants do require a larger purchase than the $25. Some have day of the week restrictions. At some the tip is already added to the bill. So just read the fine print before you buy.
