July 22, 2011

This was one of those rare weeks when I actually DID what I PLANNED to do at CVS. Here’s what I ended up buying:

Final Price: $8.67
Savings: $18.00 (67%)

What I Bought:
5 Garnier Fructis Shampoos & Conditioners – $16.67

Coupons Used:
2 – $1/1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo or Conditioner printable

$5 off $15 Garnier purchase coupon from the in-store coupon printing machine

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $ 6.67
ECBs Earned: $5.00

Transaction #2:

What I Bought:
3 Pepsi product 12-packs – $10.00

Coupons Used:
$5.00 ECBs from Transaction #1

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $5.00

I actually only had to pay $1.67 plus tax out-of-pocket because I had a $10 CVS eGift Card from Swagbucks. If you’re not familiar with these, be sure to check out my post that explains the CVS cards from Swagbucks. They’re priceless!

Not a bad deal, especially if you have ECBs to burn. And that $10 gift certificate from Swagbucks… that helped! 🙂
