Sshhhh…. Don’t tell…. I just broke a long-standing rule at our house. My husband always asks us to not break out the Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. đ We do believe in celebrating each holiday without rushing on to the next one. But I definitely broke that rule this time.
I just finished listening to an advance copy of FFH’s new Christmas CD One Silent Night. I’m totally in the Christmas spirit now! The songs on the album range from playful to worshipful, exactly what Christmas is around here. My favorite was the title track One Silent Night with Glorious Impossible a closer runner-up. You can preview all of the songs on the album here.Â

Hi there ~ I have so many “favorite” Christmas songs that it’s hard to choose just one! Let’s see… how about “How Should A King Come?” I love that one and I hardly ever hear it anymore. I had it on an LP [that’s showing my age đ ] over 26 years ago. I think it was a solo album by one of the singers of the Haven of Rest Quartet. Anyway, I really do love the song, and I love collecting Christmas music. By the way, I used to start listening to Christmas music by the first of October until my family put their collective foot down and said, “Mom, PLEASE wait at least until the first of November!” [They would prefer waiting until the day after Thanksgiving. đ ] In His Grace, Kay
I love “O Holy Night”. I totally started listening to Christmas music before American thanksgiving :).
