It all started with my determination to gather some more ECBs. I’d spent all of mine on a few necessities last week. So I had NO ECBs to play with this week! {Sad… but true.} I was thrilled to find the clearanced Tylenol Precise Patches yesterday. I figured there was a way to combine that sweet find and the $5 off $25 purchase coupon that was sitting in my inbox. Sure enough… I was able to pay just $3.78 out-of-pocket for all of this:
What I Bought:
2 Carefree Liners – $.99 each
3 Tylenol Precise – $1.94 each
2 20-ounce Coke Products – $1.79 each
2 Revlon Fabulash Mascara – $7.89 each
Merchandise Value: $27.16
Coupons Used:
$5 off $25 purchase coupon received via email
2 $1/1 Carefree Product, exp. 6-30-11 (SS 05/08/11)
2 $2/1 Precise by Tylenol 5/8/2011 SS Insert (exp 8/31/2011)
1 $5/1 Tylenol Precise Product Printable
2 FREE Coke product coupons from My Coke Rewards
2 $2/1 Revlon Color Cosmetic Product 5/8/2011 SS Insert (exp 6/12/2011)
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $3.18 plus tax
ECBs Earned: $7.00 (Revlon)
Final Price: $3.78 moneymaker!
Mission accomplished! I spent less than I got back in ECBs. Now I’m ready to use my $7 ECBs next week… hopefully to grow them into more. If you got a CVS store coupon by email this week be sure to check the expiration date. Mine was set to expire Saturday instead of Sunday this time.
