Merchandise Value: $21.34
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $6.62
ECBs Earned: $6.00
Final Price: $.62
Savings: $20.72 (97%)

I’m pretty excited about this trip because it’s a replenish-the-stockpile trip. When we realized a while back that we would be moving, I stopped buying a lot of the things that I like to keep in our stockpile. In fact, we are currently using our LAST TUBE OF TOOTHPASTE! {gasp}  I know… I know… That’s near-profanity for a coupon stockpile shopper. Well I’m back in the saddle, and all of these things went right into our new stockpile storage area. I’ll have to take a picture of it for you sometime soon.

In the meantime, here’s how this trip went down.

What I Bought:
1 Aussie Styler – $2.49
1 Herbal Essences Styler – $2.48
1 CVS Brand Body Wash – $2.27
2 Almay Mascaras (Buy 1 – Get 1 50% off) – $12.43
1 Colgate Total – $1.67

Coupons Used:
$2.48 – Free Herbal Essences coupon from a Facebook promo
$2.49 – Free Aussie coupon from a Facebook promo
$3.00 – CVS FREE Body Wash coupon (The cashier had no clue why $3 came off, but the computer did it automatically when she scanned the coupon. Weird.)
$0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste 7/24/2011 SS Insert (exp 8/13/2011)
$1/1 Colgate Total CVS Store Coupon from in-store coupon machine
$5/2 Almay Products CVS Store Coupon from in-store coupon machine

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $6.62 plus tax
ECBs Earned: $1.00 (Aussie/Herbal Essences), $5.00 (CVS Beauty Club – I hit the $50 mark again!)

Note: The $5 Beauty Club ECBs did not print on my receipt. The cashier said that they take a day to process. She told me that I could scan my card at the in-store coupon printing machine the next time I’m in, and it should print for me there. So I’ll still be able to use it on my next trip. Has anyone done this? Do they print at the machine? Or will I have to wait for my receipt next time?

Great job! I’m down to about 20 tubes of toothpaste–maybe I should go get some 🙂 Regarding the beauty club ECB, YES, it will print with your coupons from the magic coupon machine. I’ve hit the mark a couple of times. I think you can also go into your account online at CVS and print it from there, too.

Oh great idea Kathy! I’m going to log into my CVS account and see if I can print it there. I like to have all my CVS ducks in a row before I hit the store, you know! 🙂 And if you’re down to 20 tubes of toothpaste you’d better get shopping!

No joke Shelly! (Though that’s what I said before I almost ran out – ha ha!)
