Did you ever head out to CVS knowing that what you were after would be sold out? That was me today. I stopped at CVS in hopes of scoring some really inexpensive shaving cream and gel, but I knew that they would be sold out.
And they were.
And I was sad.
And I got a rain check.
Whew.
Here’s what I ended up doing:
1 Renu Multipurpose Solution – $7.89
$2/1 Renu Fresh or Sensitive Multi-Purpose Solution, exp. 8/31/11 (SS 06/12/11 R)
ECBs Earned: $6.00
Final Price…. Moneymaker!
Here’s what I wanted to do:
7 Skintimate Cream Shave – $2.19 each
3 Skintimate Shave Gel – $2.19 each
– 2 $1.50/1 Skintimate Cream Shave Coupon*
– 5 $1/1 Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave 7/24/2011 SS Insert (exp 9/10/2011)
– 2 $0.75/1 Skintimate Shave Gel*
– 1 $0.55/1 Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Gel 6/26/2011 SS Insert (exp 8/6/2011)
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $11.85
ECBs Earned: $10.00
Final Price: $1.85 ($.19 each)
*These coupons are printing only once per computer. I have two because I printed from two different computers.
Fortunately I remembered to get a rain check for the Skintimate, so I can grab them as soon as they restock the shelves.
Don’t forget to get your raincheck if your store is sold out! CVS rainchecks have no expiration date, so you can even save them until another great coupon comes out.
