CVS Trip: An Herbal Essences Moneymaker!

November 19, 2010

Starting ECBs: $5.00
Merchandise Value: $8.57
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $1.07 plus tax
Ending ECBs: $5.00

Somehow I totally missed the $2 off Clairol coupon from the 10/31 P&G insert when I did this week’s CVS deals! Using this coupon makes the Herbal Essences a nice moneymaker!

What I Bought:
1 Herbal Essences Conditioner – $2.99
1 Fiber One Chewy Bars – $3.89 (These were supposed to be $3.99. I’m not sure why it rang up this way.)
1 20 oz. Mt. Dew – $1.69

Coupons Used:
$0.50/1 Fiber One Chewy Bars
$2/1 Clairol Hair Product 10/31/2010 P&G Insert
$5.00 ECBs from last week

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $1.07 plus tax
ECBs Earned: $5.00 ($2.00 Herbal Essences, $3.00 Fiber One)

I was able to do the $2 q for the money maker, too. Nice! I would like to invite you to link up your CVS shopping trips each week at Simply CVS.
