God’s Little Princess Bedtime Devotional {Book Giveaway}

January 24, 2014

God's Little Princess Devotional

Do you have a princess who loves all things pink and sparkly? We do! And she’s a huge a fan of Gigi, God’s Little Princess. We’re huge fans of her learning about how she’s God’s princess. That’s why I was excited to share this latest God’s Little Princess devotional book with her.

God’s Little Princess Bedtime Devotional is the perfect end to the day. It gives us all a chance to read God’s Word, talk about it, and pray together. Each day’s devotional has a Scripture, a short thought, a rhyming prayer, and a “Good-Night Giggles and Grace” activity. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the cover sparkles. 😉

    My youngest granddaughter, age 7, loves to read and if she hasn’t anything to read she gets a bible out to read and she always reminds us it’s time to pray at bedtime. Loves bible quizes. She would love this book.

    We have always read to our children before their bedtimes, including a fiction book and a story from a devotional or storybook Bible.

    Prayers are a nightly routine; always the Lord’s Prayer and one we made up. I will share:
    Dear Lord,
    We thank you for all of our blessing, we ask You to help us do better and better each day
    Dear Lord we pray for those who are hurting, lonely or sad so that they may find comfort and guidance in You
    We pray for our family, friends and all those that need it most
    We pray that we may know and do Your will
    We love You
    In Your precious son Jesus’s name we pray
    Amen
