Since I did a Two-Week Cooking Project last week, we didn’t need much from Kroger this week. So I figured we would take advantage of a few of the Mega Event deals that are going on right now. You can see a more complete list of the Mega Event deals here. Here’s what we got today:
Spent: $19.05
Saved: $22.06 (54%)
The best part of the trip was that as I was scanning things, coupons for the same thing kept printing out of the catalina machine! So I now have more coupons for tuna (which was $.24 after coupon), Reach floss (free after catalina coupon), and Milk Bone biscuits ($1.69 after coupon).
I’m also starting to plan ahead for holiday baking and snacks. Last year I made some snack mix that called for Craisins. They’re usually $2.99 per bag, but with the Mega Event savings, they’re only $1.49 each right now. So might swing back over to Kroger this weekend if we have time.

I am really digging the Kroger mega deals. Good post!
Thanks, Emily! I just realized tonight that I had 5 more catalina coupons for the floss. They all printed when I checked out today. Isn’t that weird?
