The goal of my Kroger trip this week was to pick up some inexpensive cereal, some odds and ends for making dinners, and turkey for 49¢ per pound. here’s what I ended up with.

There’s only one small problem…. I totally forgot to pick up the turkey! Do you ever have those kinds of shopping days? You’re trying to remember everyting and forget what you were after? At least I saved about 50% on this trip!
The fun part is that my 5-year-old junior photographer wanted to help take my picture for me. Not bad for her first try.

Most of MY pictures come out like Emma’s! LOL!
You girls should make a photo book together. 😉
@Kathy, I know what you mean on both not getting what you went to the store for and fuzzy photos.
I write the main item on my hand and learned to hold the camera button down halfway for it to focus, then click the rest of the way down. New trick!
oohhh… Smart! 🙂
I hate running out of cereal, so there’s a good sale I stock up big time. My oldest son goes through cereal as if it was candy.
I would like to invite you to link up your savings at the Weekly Savings Linky @ Frugality Is Free Tweet about The Weekly Savings Linky, and you could win a free ad space. I am also giving away both ALDI and Del Monte gift cards.
My 3 year old son eats more cereal than my 18 year old daughter. Cereal is a wonderful thing to stockpile in my house…if you can call it stockpile when its all gone by the end of the week.
I know exactly what you mean!! I thought I had over-stockpiled cereal just a few months ago. Now our stash is looking pretty sparse. So I understand!
