Menu Plan Monday – Week of 1/30

January 30, 2012

It’s birthday week at our house. This sweet little lady is turning SEVEN this week! She had some great ideas for her birthday menu too. So let’s start with that.

Birthday Menu
Breakfast: Fruit & yogurt parfait with strawberries, blueberries & raspberries, topped with homemade granola, served with a side of sausage
Lunch: Homemade Pizza
Dinner: Baked Rotini with Meat Sauce, Breadsticks, and Chocolate Lava Cake

I find the Chocolate Lava Cake funny because she’s never had that dessert. I have no clue how to make it either, so if you have a recipe to share, I’m all ears.

For the rest of the week……

Breakfasts

Homemade Granola
Eggs & Toast
Cinnamon Rolls
Blueberry Pancakes

Lunches

Mostly leftovers this week

Dinners

Sticky Chicken, Glazed Sweet Potatoes (recipe coming soon!)
3 Bean Chili, Cornbread
Homemade Mac & Cheese, Broccoli
Chicken ala King over Homemade Biscuits

Now she’s changed her mind. She wants Riesbeck’s chocolate cupcakes. 😀 I’ll still make her party cake, but it looks like Grandma Riesbeck is baking tomorrow’s treat… which is ok with me! Thanks for the sweet wishes!
