I always try to alert you of great cereal deals, and there have been some excellent Kellogg’s deals lately. That said, there is also a recall of some Kellogg’s products that we may have purchased recently. Recalled items include Corn Pops, Honey Smacks, Froot Loops, and Apple Jacks. The reason: “We have identified a substance in the package liners that can produce an uncharacteristic waxy-like off taste and smell.”
Below are the UPC codes and dates that are involved in the recall. Be sure to check your cupboards for these items. If you have any packages of these cereal, you should stop using them and immediately call them at 888-801-4163 for replacement coupons. You can find more information in the Kellogg’s press release.
A big thanks to Kristin from Couponing to Disney for sharing this alert.

Thanks for the info. I posted on my Facebook page for my readers!
You’re welcome! I was thankful that Kristin got the word out. I’m sure we all have a bunch of cereal that will be need to be checked.
Thanks for the heads up. I had a bunch of the Froot Loops in my pantry from the Kroger sale with free milk last week.
I had a box of Apple Jacks too, but the use by date was next January. So those ones are safe. Hopefully yours are too!
