I had one. It was printed. It was clipped. It was ready to be used. It was a $5 off any $25 CVS coupon I received via email.
And I DIDN’T use it. In fact, I chose NOT to use it.
It’s actually very strange for me to pass up one of these $5 off coupons. I can usually create a scenario to pay very little out-of-pocket and make the most of the coupon. But this week, it just didn’t happen. I wasn’t able to come up with a scenario that wasn’t going to cost me more than the coupon was worth.
So I didn’t use it. In fact, I only bought ONE item. Here’s the picture to prove it.

I also earned another $1 ECB by using my bag tag for the fourth time. So I came out $1.99 ahead! Ironically, I stopped at CVS on Monday just to snoop around, and the in-store coupon printing machine gave me a $1 off U by Kotex store coupon. Rats! I could have stacked that with my transaction and gotten another $1 item free. Oh well! I’ll save it for next time.

I, too, hate to pass those up. I work as hard as possible to use them all, and sometimes it is a lot of work. I also hate to check out and then get a good coupon I could have used–like your Kotex U coupon. I never tire of seeing other people’s trips.
Glad it’s not just me that happens to! 🙂 Oh well… I’ll save the coupon and hope that another deal rolls around.
I never get CVS coupons by email! I have tried to go in and change my settings and it just tells me I am already registered. Any suggestions?
Also – I think I saw a Columbus Dispatch in one of your posts. Are you from Ohio?
Do you happen to get the $4 off $20, etc. coupons from the in-store printing machine or at the ends of your receipts? Sometimes they come that way instead. If you can’t get it resolved, I would highly recommend contacting the CVS corporate customer service via their website. They have fantastic customer service!
I am from Ohio, about 2 hours east of Columbus. I just like to buy the bigger paper because our local papers don’t have a great selection of coupons. Are you an Ohio gal too?
