We have several friends who’ve adopted beautiful girls from China. So I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to share this new book with them. Mary Beth & Steven Curtis Chapman share a sweet story of adoption in their new book You Were Always in My Heart.
This story is told through the eyes of a little ladybug named Dot who finds a mysterious bundle one day. She promises to stay with the little bundle as they wait for her forever family to find her.
For adopted children, the story is a perfect reminder of how much they’re loved. It’s also a good way for parents to explain to kids the concept of adoption. Emma and I enjoyed reading the book together. We talked about her friends who are adopted and how their parents chose them to be part of their families.
