30-Day Giving Challenge: $25 Staples Gift Card Giveaway

  4. I love all the special promotions Staples offers. This gift card would be great for sharing with a school in January. There are many back to school drives in August and September for needy children. Many of those donated supplies have been depleted by January, so the new year is a great time to give!

  9. I would donate this to the March of Dimes for them to use in an auction basket which would generate more money than it is worth to help fight prematurity.

  11. We are giving to our local food pantry by “shopping” in our pantry. Showing our kids we can give with what we already have. We also bought several extra school supply items we will be using to fill a special box for a child in Haiti.

  22. I would use it for our local humane society so that they can buy paper. They are always in need of this.

  27. This would come in handy to be able to put ink into my printer. The ink is rather costly so I do not print too much.

  28. We love to save up money through the year and on Christmas morning let our kids “spend” it on the Gospel for Asia website choosing how to bless the poor…water wells, chickens, Bibles, clothes etc.
    It’s a highlight of Christmas!!

  48. I used the points earned from a survey company to get pharmacy giftcards, which I donated to a local women’s shelter. You can get so many things at pharmacies these days, including gifts!

  62. My ability to “Give” is magnified by finding lots of deals (thanks to you!!) all year long and saving a portion of it for the holidays! This saves me money in the long run and helps me to give more to family and friends at Christams time!

  111. Our Girl Scout troop have had two stands selling Gatorade, Water, Candy Bars, and Chips and all of the money that we raised is going to the local food pantry to help out families in need this holiday season. The girls are so excited and we are so proud of them.

  253. Don’t buy new. Someone told us that about Christmas and we thought they were crazy! Then we went to a local thrift store and really looked and wow, they were right. They had a ton of Christmas ornaments and decorations and we are making stuff for Christmas this year.

  318. I use freecycle to announce what items I have for giving {free} and also take advantage at times of what others have to give away..it is a great program to keep unwanted and very useful items out of landfills!
