If you have a reader (or even a reluctant reader!) in your house, you may want to check them out. Mr. Putter lives with his “fine cat Tabby” next door to Mrs. Teaberry and “her good dog Zeke.” These two (and their furry friends) get into some hilarious adventures together!
My kids and I LOVE the Mr. Putter and Tabby series. It’s perfect for newly independent readers around 1st or 2nd grade. It’s like reading about the grandfather you may or may not have had. Cynthia Rylant is also a wonderful children’s book author! She has never written a bad book in her life!
