Coupons from Grandma

September 1, 2008

This is my grandma with my daughter
when my daughter was only a few months old.

We joined my extended family today for an indoor picnic (it was HOT outside) at my grandma’s house today. With my daughter there, that makes four generations spending time together. How fun!
My mom brought up my CVSing, and I had to try to explain how I’ve been getting my personal and household goods for next-to-nothing. I realized that I need to create some concrete details for people so that they can better understand how it works. I also realized that my grandma has been throwing away her coupons each Sunday.

AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My grandma is pretty thrifty, but she must not take the time for coupons. She gave me the Proctor & Gamble insert from yesterday and told me she’d keep them for me in the future too. How nice!
The lesson… Make sure that your family knows you collect coupons. They may keep them for you and save you from buying so many newspapers!
