Giveaway: Yoplait Greek Goddess Gift Set

April 13, 2010

We’re big yogurt fans around here, so I was thrilled when My Blog Spark and Yoplait sent me coupons to try the new Yoplait Greek yogurt.  I’d heard about them but wondered what made them different from traditional yogurt.

Yoplait’s Greek yogurt has 12 grams of protein (which is twice the amount found in most other leading yogurts) and comes in four flavors, Strawberry, Blueberry, Honey Vanilla, and Plain.  I chose Strawberry and Blueberry for our trial flavors.

I was really surprised at the consistency of the yogurt. It was REALLY thick and creamy!  I wasn’t sure about the flavor when I ate the first cup. I’m used to eating really sugary fruit-flavored yogurts, and this Greek yogurt doesn’t have the same kick of flavor that most traditional yogurt does.  It’s more like a plain or vanilla yogurt with a touch of fruit flavor.  (I decided against squeezing some jelly into it, figuring that would defeat the healthiness of it!)  I enjoyed the second one flavor more than the first because I knew what to expect.

I do think that I would buy this product again, especially since Yoplait has been offering $.30 off coupons on a regular basis.  In fact, you can print a coupon good for $.30 off one Yoplait Greek yogurt cup right HERE.  If you have any recipes with yogurt in them, the Honey Vanilla or Plain would be excellent choices!

Now on to the giveaway….

Yoplait and My Blog Spark have also provided me with a Greek Goddess gift pack.  It has some great pampering items in it, including a bath robe!  They were also kind enough to provide a gift pack, including coupons for free Greek yogurt, for one of my readers!

There are four ways to enter this giveaway.  Enter once or all four times. Just be sure to leave a separate comment for each method of entry.  If you do all four things but only leave one comment, you only get one entry.

  1. Leave a comment telling me which flavor of Greek yogurt you’d most like to try.
  2. Subscribe to the Saving & Giving FREE daily email update. This sends one summary email to your inbox each day, showing what was posted that day. If I don’t post, you don’t get an email. I don’t ever use your email address for anything except the daily update.
  3. Follow Saving & Giving on Twitter.
  4. Become a Saving & Giving Facebook fan.

This giveaway will close on Saturday, April 17 at 9:00 p.m. EST.  A winner will be chosen randomly from all entries.  Good luck!

Disclosure: I received a free pampering gift set and two free cups of Yoplait Greek yogurt from Yoplait and My Blog Spark. These gifts in no way affected my personal review of the product. All opinions are honest and my own.
