Gratituesday: A Christian School

October 5, 2009

We spent a little time this past Saturday morning participating in Emma’s school’s annual bike-a-thon. While it’s one of the biggest fundraisers of the year, it’s also a good chance to spend a little bit of time with the kids and parents from our school. And my parents and grandparents joined us for a morning at the track.

We are SO blessed to have a Christian school affiliated with our church. The teachers, administrators, and staff members are great role models for our children, making us feel safe as we drop her off each day. We’ve been able to strengthen friendships with some of the parents and form new relationships as we’ve met new parents. Emma absolutely adores her teachers, and so do we!

They asked that the preschool and kindergarten parents accompany their riders around the track to keep them in their lanes. As you can see from the picture, Emma was more interested in talking to her Daddy than where she was going on the track. Nothing wrong with that!

So, what are you thankful for today? See what others are thankful for by heading over to Gratituesday hosted by Heavenly Homemakers.
