Menu Plan Monday – Week of 8/31

We had a whirlwind weekend filled with a baby shower and a sick little one. I’m tired! But I know that having a menu plan will make the rest of the week smoother.

I am trying to avoid the grocery store this week. Instead, I want to use up some of the food that we have on-hand. Somehow I ended up with 3 bags of frozen chicken breasts in my freezer! So chicken is on the menu a lot this week! I need to make room in my freezer for some baked goods that I hope to make later this week. Here’s what we’re planning.

Monday
Grilled Chicken (weather permitting!)
Parsley Potatoes

Green Beans

Tuesday
Grilled Chicken Salads
We’ll use leftover grilled chicken from Monday for this.

Wednesday
Leftover BBQ Pork (from the freezer) over Homemade Bread
Corn

Thursday
Chicken Teriyaki Spaghetti (recipe HERE)
We’ll use leftover grilled chicken from Monday for this.

Friday
Homemade Pizza

Saturday
Baked Fish
Sweet Corn
Baked Potatoes

Sunday
Our small group will be meeting again this Sunday, so we’ll need to take a side dish. I’m thinking about baking some Chocolate Zucchini Bread using the zucchini that my uncle gave us.
