I just wanted to let you know that I’m having some outpatient surgery done on Monday. Nothing major… just some girlie stuff. I’ll spare you – especially our male readers! – the details. I just wanted to know if you could remember me in prayer. I’ve been battling with fear about the whole thing all week. This morning in church, we sang the song Hosanna and one part specifically caught my attention.
When we see you, we find strength to face the day.
In your presence all our fears are washed away…
washed away.
I just need to remember that it’s in God’s presence that the fears are washed away. His peace is able to sustain us… even when we’re not sure what’s coming next.
